Our Mission
The Oare Rover Foundation is preserving the past to build a better future. We’re teaming up with communities across the country to transform their historical sites into public spaces that celebrate local culture, create jobs, and ensure Americans can remain connected to our rich history.
WHAT WE DO
COLLECT
Acquire historical structures and artifacts representative of all periods of American history, up to the present-day.
DOCUMENT
Curate databases and publish the Foundation’s collections so that a wider audience – from academics to community members – can benefit from our efforts.
STUDY
Support education and dialogue within the academic community and beyond, deepening understanding of our nation’s historical and cultural contexts.
PRESERVE
Restore and maintain historical structures and artifacts in accordance with the highest standards of preservation.
EXHIBIT
Present exhibitions of restored historical structures and artifacts in an engaging, thought-provoking, and intellectually inspiring manner.
SERVE
At all times, we serve the community with the highest professional standards provided by The Oare Rover Foundation’s operations, programs, and governance.
